We all experience discomfort in our shoulders sometimes. This could be triggered by many different sources. Stress, for example, could trigger pain in the shoulders via muscular tension from the neck. Stress also affects your breathing, which in turn affects your posture, creating tight muscles around the shoulders. For those who are active, shoulder pain can be triggered by practicing weight bearing exercises on the arms without understanding the muscle mechanics of the movements. Having had a rotator cuff injury myself over a decade ago and rehabilitated through intelligent yoga practice with some help from my teachers, I am keen to share with you a sustainable practice for shoulders in this workshop. I hope to help get you through the winter with more relaxed shoulders!
