About the yoga: Yoga is taught by Claudia Steinhauser whose classes are designed for all levels, from the complete beginner to the more experienced practitioner. Lots of individual attention and adjustments are given in the classes and everyone is well looked after. .

About the hiking: We walk beautiful mountain trails, averaging approximately 12 km per day, accompanied by friendly and knowledgeable hiking guides who fill our days with a soulful blend of scenic hiking, historical insights, traditional experiences and wonderful food. We savor local Asturian cuisine, sample aromatic cheeses and sip the traditional beverage, Sidra Asturianu, a cider made from locally grown apples. We trek through scenic gorges and alongside babbling brooks; dine in local taverns; explore 10th-century churches and relax under Spain’s oldest yew tree, El Tiexo, planted more than 1000 years ago in a sacred meadow.

About the location & accommodation: We stay in a a picturesque rural hotel in the stunning Quiros Valley of the Asturian Region. All rooms are spacious and have en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, patios with village or valley views and lovely décor.

High speed internet and WIFI, TV room and library and lots of private areas to soak up the Spanish mountain air and warm sun.

About the food: Our retreat meals are delicious and abundant using fresh ingredients. All meals are vegetarian and mainly wheat and sugar free. For lunch we either buy supplies for a group picnic on our hike or eat at local restaurants where you can sample all sorts of regional specialities.
