SPRING BODY AWAKENING!
YOGA & BALL THERAPY WORKSHOP
Saturday April 4, 2015
2pm – 4pm

Have the affects of a long, cold winter taken their toll on your body? Do you experience tightness and tenderness within? Are your joints stiff and achy? Do you suffer from headaches, chronic pain and muscle cramps?

Rejuvenate the body and restore balance as we explore movement, breath and ball work in this highly engaging workshop open to practitioners of all levels!

You'll receive practical tools to help:
• Reawaken the physical body
• Increase joint stability
• Address chronic tension and pain
• Reduce stress & anxiety
• Balance the nervous system

We’ll begin with mindful vinyasa - slow steady movement seamlessly linked by breath with a focus on isometrics, alignment and awareness. As we begin to deepen our practice, we’ll weave in ball work to rejuvenate our connective tissue, addressing areas of discomfort including the neck, jaw, shoulder, back, hamstrings and feet. We’ll close our practice with restorative yoga to minimize muscle contraction and restore balance.
