Spring Workshop

At the beautiful Retreat Farm and nestled in the space known as The Sanctuary, we will enjoy an extended yoga practise taking our time to get into and connect with body, encouraging the opening and unfurling of the hips, the releasing and unwinding of the shoulders and the unravelling and awakening of the spine.

We will then finish the session with a deep healing Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) that will leave you feeling relaxed but restored and refreshed and ready to embrace the blossom of spring.

Full Description

Through the winter we practise restorative warming yoga, gently maintaining suppleness and muscle tone, whilst our limited energy requires deep relaxation and rest. As we move into spring we feel the urge to start stretching and opening a little further, our bodies start to unravel and our energy begins to lift, just slightly, but we must remember that this must be done gently with a loving kindness and acceptance of ourselves and our bodies!!

This retreat day is aimed to do just that and open the mind and body into Spring; like a flower gently opening her petals to the sun!
