We'll work on these three inversions from the perspective of stability. Getting upside down, staying there and even pressing up. We will work on engaging the most helpful muscles at the appropriate times to advance your inversion practice however beginner or advanced you may be.

Getting into (and out of!) inversions can be intimidating and scary, especially if you’re new to this idea. We will work on three of the main inversions in yoga - Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand), Sirsasana (headstand) and Pincha Mayurasana (forearm balance) - from the perspective of stability. Stability can be the difference between getting upside down or not, being able to stay there and even finding balance! Let’s explore how tuning in to our stabilizers can open up a whole new world of upside down. This workshop is appropriate for all levels, whether you’re working on getting upside down for the first time, balancing once you're up there or even pressing up! All you need is an adventurous attitude and a willingness to try :)
