WHAT IS THE STEAMBOAT MOVEMENT FEST?

While Steamboat Springs, Colorado is known for its world class mountain terrain and champagne powder in the winter, it’s making waves on the adventure front, putting its summer yoga, hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, and live music options on the map. As the snow melts away from the Rocky Mountain high-country, it breathes life into the forests and pastures and feeds the emerald splendor of the valley in the summertime. There’s a saying here: "Come for the skiing, but stay for the summer” and many of us have succumbed to the 'Yampa Valley Curse'.

The Steamboat Movement Fest is like none other. It takes place, in the heart of it all, at the base area of Mt. Werner at the Steamboat Ski & Resort. With unparalleled views of the valley below and the iconic mountains above- the Flat Tops to Emerald Mountain to the Sleeping Giant- the mountain base provides all the elements needed for the ultimate Movement adventure with yoga, live music and access to outdoor fun. The free-flowing sounds of the Yampa River flow through the heart of the downtown area while the mineral hot springs bubble to the surface.
