Summer Solstice Yoga Immersion

This Seasonal Yoga Immersion is a unique 3 hour session divided into two inter-related parts - a more energetic, active, yang session followed by a slower, passive, restorative, yin session - both focusing on specific practises, movements and parts / areas of the body that relate to the season; traditional Hatha Yoga practises such as asana (posture), pranayama (breath), mudra (gesture) & mantra (sound) integrated with the seasonally appropriate philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This Seasonal Immersion will focus on practises that support the Summer energetics of the Fire Element, Heart (yin) & Small Intestine (yang) and is perfect for those who really want to immerse themselves into the energetics of the season &/or for those who already have / can't make a weekly class.

Both Saturday Immersions & Weekly Classes cater for all shapes, sizes, ages & levels of experience and focus more on promoting the experience of the practises within a safe, relaxing, peaceful, nurturing & non-intimidating environment.
