Sometimes, it takes an invitation to inspire a dream. Sometimes, it takes saying yes to an invitation to inspire, and change, your life. My invitation to India last month was a dream come true.
Consider this your invitation.
An “India Inspired” Yoga Workshop at Alpine Yoga
During this weekend workshop I will be sharing with you the skills I have acquired during my recent trip to India. This workshop will take your practice to new heights, awakening the body’s intelligence. I will use my deep seated knowledge of the asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath work) to individualise corrections for each student. An intense focus will be on the subtleties of each posture, penetrating deeper within the individual and into the experience of each pose. Dipping you into the vastness of the Iyengar teachings.
Not so many have had the opportunity to go to India and experience the living tradition of Iyengar Yoga as taught by the masters themselves. But I did, 10 days training with the worlds leading female yoga teacher, Geeta Iyengar in Pune India, the birthplace of Iyengar Yoga.
Her profound understanding of her father’s legacy deeply nourished my mind, my body and my soul. I now carry with me an invisible thread. This thread, this connection to Geeta’s teachings, will be shared without end. The flame of yoga in Jindabyne grows as bright as ever.
Join me at the studio for this momentous event. A workshop designed for any level of practitioner, experienced or beginner.
