Full Description

Emphasizing the practical and experiential aspects of this art and science, our curriculum includes Vinyasa/Hatha Flow and Yin Yoga as its foundation.

Furthermore, we honor all authentic wisdom traditions in our studies, exploring the universal values and inherent truths in all genuine approaches to growth and evolution, both ancient and modern, from India and beyond.

Join us for a two-part immersion. Both ten days each, together they comprise a full 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, resulting in certification.

Become a more fully blossomed yogi and a confident, qualified yoga teacher!

MODULE ONE: 'Spreading Your Wings' (September 5th-14th, 2014) will focus on the more practical, accessible aspects of Yoga, providing you with the tools you need to refine your approach to self-practice and teaching.

MODULE TWO: 'Taking Flight' (September 4th -13th, 2015) will see us journeying deeper into the philosophical, energetic, and spiritual aspects of Yoga, learning how to use our increased sensitivity and openness to access higher states, and to share that with our students and the world.

Teachers Bio:

Simone MacKay

Simone’s journey has led her from the mountains of Switzerland to the free and open lifestyles of tropical Asia and the plant medicines of South America, all of which informs her work as the director of the School of Sacred Arts. Feeling most inspired by time in nature and conscious community, she brings their essence into her yoga practice and teaching, holding space for her students with a gentle poise and grace in teacher trainings, workshops and retreats around the world.

Troy McFadden

With an eclectic life that has included establishing wellness centers, long periods alone in the wilderness, and acting in feature films, Troy brings a knowing humor, playfulness, and a healthy perspective on life into his work as a yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer. Believing that following a tradition or a specific teacher should be secondary to finding one’s own true path, he encourages his students to be free, think for themselves, and to trust their intuition—the voice of Spirit within.

Sky

Sky is dedicated to living a life of yoga, and for 22 years has studied and taught several styles of yoga, always coming back to the simple and deep principles in the tradition of Hatha Yoga. Gracefully incorporating wisdom from Qi Gong, Ayurveda and Bhagavat Gita (yoga shastra) into his classes gives his delivery a certain integrity and well-rounded approach.

Sky has studied Vedanta for the last 12 years with Swami Vagishananda and Swami Dayananda, giving a good grounding in the purpose and practices of Yoga as a way of achieving balance, harmony and total fulfillment in this life.
