Full Description

This class will focus on using yoga to manage mental health challenges such as anxiety, addiction, stress, depression and trauma. We will tap the deeper resources, beyond postures and alignment, to apply yoga to modern lifestyle challenges.
This less-conventional approach to yoga is based in original yoga philosophy, which is a guide to self-mastery. Using postures, breathwork, meditation and yoga philosophy, we will apply yoga practices to contemporary urban experience of overstimulation, the glut of addictive options, stress, and mood difficulties. The goal is a more resilient nervous system and skillful self-care.
