Full Description

All back bends stimulate the central nervous system and increase its ability to bear stress. They help to relieve one from stress, tension and nervous exhaustion. These asanas stimulate and energise the body. BKS Iyengar

This CPD workshop for yoga teachers will invite you to approach backbends, alternatives necessary and ways to finish a practice, from the Iyengar tradition. We cannot teach what we have not yet experienced or practised ourselves.

This workshop is 3 hours of direct teaching, the equivalent of 3 CPD points.

Learn from Krissie, who taught a teacher’s workshop in this series at Experience Yoga in 2015, with resounding feedback. Krissie has been practising, studying and teaching Iyengar yoga since 2004, having travelled extensively to the Institute in Pune to experience direct teaching from BKS Iyengar.

Space is limited to six teachers and bookings with payment are essential. Click on 27 February on the Timetable page to book your place and pay via PayPal or credit card.
