It also works with Callington Road Hospital in Bristol measuring outcomes of work with suicidal young people. Results are posted on the research page of TeenYoga.

We are the only worldwide Yoga Alliance accredited training for Teens.

"I looked for the best course out there, and found this one, (Dave 2014)"

It is taught in many schools across the country both as part of the curriculum and as an after school activity funded by The National Lottery. Mindfulness has particularly seen a huge growth in recent years as the research in the field has proved without a doubt that mindfulness increases well being.

Charlotta is an inspiration to yoga teachers around the world… Having attended one of her Teacher TRaining courses in Dubai made me understand more her cause of helping teenagers through trauma release. Charlotta’s vision of equipping teenagers with the tools & skills to help themselves & others, will guarantee them a better future. Natalia (Dubai 2013)

Words can’t explain what an amazing course you have put together!! You opened a whole new fascinating world to me and for that I am truly grateful!! I will highly recommend to anyone to take Teenyoga course with you.
Ayala (Dec 2012)

The TeenYoga course is structured to enable you to teach yoga and mindfulness to 11-18 yr olds in a school environment, although what you will learn here will also enable you to teach in other setting. It has been constructed with the help of specialist adolescent Neuroscientists, Anatomists, Psychologists and Yoga Teachers. It is now taught in several continents across the globe.

Charlotta Martinus launched this course for the first time in 2007 in response to the growing need to care for our young people and give them respite from stress and anxiety.

This course is unique, as the only fully fledged, Yoga Alliance accredited and insured teenyoga course in the UK and it is also unique in its focus on scientific research and actual experiential research to help support and structure the training.

The course comes with a detailed and comprehensive manual, with plenty of practical class structures for you to use. In this manual you will find a detailed list of the benefits of yoga and a list of suitable postures for this particular age group, targeting specific issues.

TeenYoga is looking to become increasingly involved in lobbying government to include Mindfulness and Yoga in the curriculum and would welcome support from graduates in this.

You will leave this course belonging to a burgeoning and exciting strong community of dedicated and devoted teachers and with their unending support.
