This course if for anyone interested in the ancient practice of Thai Yoga Massage. Whether you are a yoga teacher looking to expand and deepen your knowledge of human body and how to work with it; a massage therapist who wants to add a new set of skills to the present practice; or anybody looking to learn a healing practice for themselves and to share with others.
What you will learn:
You will learn a full set of tools and techniques to perform a full body Northern style Thai Yoga Massage as taught in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the world’s “capital” of this particular massage practice. Strong emphasis will be on performing a massage with mindfulness, as a form of meditation; in this way the massage becomes a healing practice whereby you connect to the energy of the receiver, healing the person and yourself at the same time.
The aim of this course is not only to give you practical massage techniques but also a full immersion into the yogic practices including asana, pranayama and meditation. These practices will make you more in tune to your own vital force so that you can be sensitive to other people’s energies.
At the end of these 7 days the successful student will receive a Diploma approved for CDP points by CThA Complementary Therapist Association.
Your daily schedule will include:

About Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is based on the concept of invisible energy lines running through the body. The background of this concept lies in Yoga philosophy, which states that life energy is absorbed with the air we breathe and with the food we eat.
Massaging these lines and points makes it possible to treat a whole range of diseases or relieve pain. The 10 mainlines are sufficient to conduct practical treatment for the whole body and its internal organs. Disturbances in the flow of energy result in an insufficient supply of energy, which will in turn lead to sickness. Working on the energy lines with massage can break the blockades, stimulate the free flow of energy, and help to restore general well-being.
Thai Yoga Massage was never taught to be a mere job. Up to these days the most prominent Thai Yoga Massage School in Thailand is located in a temple of Wat Po, which confirms that Thai Yoga Massage is a healing practice closely related to spiritual practice and Buddhism.
