How The Course Is
Over a period of four months you will:

- learn the skills to help people of all ages and body types with their physical and emotional imbalances
- greatly improve your body mechanics, in your massage practice and in everyday life

- take regular weekends out for yourself to come back feeling nurtured and inspired

Whilst each lesson covers some history, theory and spiritual aspects of Thai Yoga Massage, the main part of the training consists of practical hands-on practice with easy to follow demonstrations and students both giving and receiving Thai Yoga Massage sequences. The course consists of 12 full-day lessons spread over four long weekends.

By the end of the training you will be able to give a complete two hour traditional Thai Yoga Massage to practitioner level and to treat a variety of specific ailments.

After completing the training period, students need to complete 30 documented case studies and come back for a final assessment. After successful completion of the assessment, students can get accredited with CMA and practice with insurance. For this, it is necessary to hold a recognized certificate of 55 hours (Level 3 ITEC or NVQ) in Anatomy and Physiology. (Yoga teachers and other therapists may not need to do this, please check if your current insurer will add Thai Yoga Massage to your current policy or if CMA recognises your A+P qualification.)
