"The 8 Limbs of Yoga" - An Immersion Monsoon Retreat in the Heart of the Goan Forest

Sonja Appel (E-RYT 200 – founder of Sushumna Yoga, Goa, India) invites you for a 7 days yoga immersion in the Goan forest in the middle of the monsoon.

Monsoon is a truly magical and extraordinary season, the only time of the year when the nature is at its best. Emptied from all the tourists, Goa belongs to Goans and becomes again a small and green state. Water is flowing everywhere giving the countryside this characteristic lush green color, you will only meet a few locals on the roads and if you walk along the beach you will experience the fury of the sea. It is the perfect time to come on a retreat and really experience what rain and life are about.

The course will include group yoga (beginners are welcomed), comfortable accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner (vegetarian, organic and locally grown ingredients), with time to relax on your own, discover the beautiful surroundings and experience monsoon season.

Sonja will guide you through the 8 limbs of Yoga and you will discover that yoga is much more than just physical activity. Yoga is about creating union between mind, body and spirit, and Asanas (postures) are only one of the 8 limbs.
