“The art of adjusting” training module consists of a theoretical and a practical part regarding the adjustments and communication with students through our hands.
The theoretical part provides an understanding of what, when and how to adjust students using the touch as a vehicle to communicate. We will explore the various possibilities of adjusting postures, such as the most direct, like a correction, the most subtle and energetic, and the deepest ones, understanding both their potential and their risk and observing when it makes sense to use one or the other.
In addition, there will be a lot of practices to experiment and adapt to the touch as a communicative tool, as well as to feel, explore and experiment different adjustments in the main yoga postures. We will touch different bodies to understand the difference of an identical adjustment and an identical posture withing the singularity of each person. Among the participants and inside the room there will be a “non-violent communication” and a constructive feedback.

-When, why and how to adjust. Different kinds of adjustments. The observation.
-Locating the lines and directions of the adjustments.
-Possible dangers when adjusting.
-Awareness of our hands and touch. Listening to the other through our hands.
-Standing while adjusting. Practices.
-Adjusting the movements of the spine during an asana. Practice.
-Adjusting asanas of arms and centre. Practices.
-Adjusting openings of hips Practices.
-Adjusting inverted poses. Practices.
