Full Description

In this workshop, we will explore a representative sample of standing and balancing poses including: typical misalignments you see in beginning students; alignment refinements for intermediate and advanced students; creative use of props to get the alignment and support you want; sequencing standing poses; how to read students’ bodies in standing poses; and making student-specific adjustments based on what you see. You will gather a wealth of tips and techniques to enrich your students’ experience in your classes. This class is designed for hatha, vinyasa and ashtanga teachers as it looks at adjustments for students moving through a series of poses and adjustments for students holding poses in hatha classes. It is required for the Yoga on High 300-hour Teacher Training Program, but is open to all yoga teachers.
