Over 80 million boomers and older adults want improved posture, body awareness, strength, flexibility, range-of-motion, balance, and pain relief that yoga can give them. Chair yoga is the wave of the future for yoga teachers who are prepared to teach it. Millions of people are just waiting for chair yoga to come to their neighborhood. Here is your chance to add new classes to your schedule and make more money per class than you do now.
You will learn three types of chair yoga, sitting, standing behind a chair, practicing with hands on the seat of the chair. In addition you will learn yoga at the wall and modifications to standing poses for seniors.
Not only will two very experienced yoga teachers with expertise in teaching chair yoga teach you all the ins and outs, but we will also show you how to market your skills, fill your classes and make more money. If you follow our instructions you will make back the cost of the workshop quickly.
You will receive two books with exceptional material: a Manual for Teaching Older Adults with over 100 pages and Age without Limits, a 394-page book with pictures and instructions for postures for all parts of the body. Plus a video of Amy's 93-year old mother doing yoga in her home.
Furthermore, you will be observing a chair yoga class for advanced students and an exercise class using props. Students will range in age from the 40's to the 90's
Chair yoga can be taught in senior living centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, offices, community senior centers, yoga studios, and in clients homes.
