This series of 4 workshops will deepen your understanding and connection to the elements, thereby deepening your connection to yourself and the world around you. We will incorporate: pranayama; a restorative yoga sequence and a guided meditation, all accompanied by beautiful live music.
In yoga, it is taught that everything in nature is made up of five basic elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. These elements are the essence of the entire universe, and run within you and around you. Yoga, by its very nature, is designed to bring you into alignment and harmony with all things, while meditation has been proven to aid in focus, memory retention, decreased levels of stress and anxiety, as well as building a healthier immune system! Exploring the elements through a restorative practice and meditation will help you along the path of yoga, giving you a personal relationship to something that may once have felt abstract.
This series of four workshops will deepen your understanding and connection to the elements, thereby deepening your connection to yourself and the world around you. The workshops will incorporate: pranayama (breathing exercises); a restorative yoga sequence and a guided meditation, all accompanied by beautiful live music. The live, original score (created by Daisy Watkins) is designed to assist the meditative process and flow with your practice. Each workshop will focus on a different element, so each class will be a unique experience. You are welcome to sign up to all four workshops, or book on an individual basis.
