We all have demons. Some that we’re aware of and many we aren’t. This day long workshop with Friedel and Grace will invite you to explore the identity and truth of your inner demon and drop the judgment, frustration and negativity about a particular aspect of yourself.
Through connecting with deeper layers of ‘self,’ we’ll find some courage to look directly at what gifts are waiting for us just below the surface, bringing us into a more embodied and empowered life.
The day’s agenda includes:
- 1.5 hour hatha yoga practice with Grace around letting go of labels, stepping into discomfort and awakening authenticity
- 30 min meditation & mindfulness practice to connect directly to our deepest self
- 3 hours of art therapy to uncover the great gifts that our supposed demons are carrying for us
The workshop is limited to 10 people. Please register early to save your spot at
Cost: $90-120 sliding scale - pay what you can
We are happy to offer a scholarship to someone who is financially limited but wishes to attend and offer some assistance. Contact Friedel or Grace directly to inquire.
A little about
For the past 8 years, Grace has taught mindfulness and Yoga, and helped to create communities steeped in truthful connection and conscious living wherever she happened to be on the globe. Her favorite offerings are those which focus on personal empowerment, finding our authentic voices and living with intentional and fearless connection, especially to women and through the lens of Sacred Femininity and conscious relationships. She has led many discussion groups, workshops, women’s groups, and classes with a focus on bringing a holistic, Yogic approach into every area of our life. Through Yoga and conscious living, Grace has found a deep sense of peace and trust, and hopes to share this in her teachings. She currently offers workshops and private coachings in Seattle, Portland and online. See more at
A little about
As a life long artist and Buddhist practitioner of 20 years, Friedel loves to facilitate creative, sacred and safe (enough) spaces for individuals and communities to dive into the rich fertility of their shadow sides and draw forth the unique gifts and wisdom that our wild chaos has to offer us. Through the frameworks of guided mindfulness and art therapy she teaches the profound value of liberating ourselves from the twin illusions of perfection and control, in order to intuitively express our most authentic and blessedly messy selves. Her workshops and peer to peer coaching sessions are all about finding freedom in creativity, and cultivating curiosity and compassion for What Is without judgment.
