The Healing Power of Nature
The practice of spending time in nature is called "Shinrinyoku" in Japanese. According to Japanese research, the benefits of practicing Shinrinyoku include reducing stress and anxiety, overall well being and boosting the immune system.

Join Cindy and PsychoTherapist Deb Weir, as they lead you through a stress-relieving Shinrinyoku experience.
We will gather at 12:30 for a brown bag picnic lunch and get-acquainted session. The event will include:
* Deb will present a Nature Talk, how to connect with nature to enhance creativity and manage stress and anxiety
* Cindy will guide in a Nature Walk, including easy Yoga and Qigong movements along the way and
* Cindy will lead a discussion on key ways to boost your immune system naturally
