Full Description

Join me and a small group of women for an experience of deep rest and connection this winter. In the hills and forests north of Wakefield, Quebec there is a magical piece of land beside a tiny, private lake. At The Yoga Garden Retreat you are invited to unplug and breathe deeply.

Slip away for two days of slow yoga, meditation, incredible meals, guided snowshoeing, wood-fired saunas and wonderful company. Arrive to a warm welcome, a hot drink and settle into your beautiful shared cabin. It won't take long for you to feel the stillness and beauty of this place.

Space is very limited, allowing for a quiet and intimate experience. We will share meals and practice and also have quiet time for solo walks in the forest, naps in your cabin, or whatever it is your body needs.

During the season of celebration and indulgence it's easy to slide into stress and overwhelm. It can be hard to start the new year feeling depleted, our resolutions start to look so burdensome when we're tired and ready to hibernate. Winter (love it or hate it) offers the possibility of slowing down and finding quiet within. It's natural to crave rest at this time of year. Our bodies know this but our shared culture encourages us to push on at the expense of our need to rest.

This retreat is your chance to step away from the routine and move deeply into the layers of your life, your body and your vivid, moment-to-moment experience Let's breathe in the smell of pine trees and snow, revel in the heat of the cedar sauna, and soften into the gentle, restorative movement our body craves.

What if you took a moment to check in with your heart. Is this retreat a gift you can offer yourself or a loved one? We often talk about peace at this time of year. I created this winter retreat as an offering of peace from me to you.
