• Cultivate a home practice for the freedom and joy it brings!This five sessions summer yoga workshop with Tarini and Shinay will introduce the power of practicing one thing with consistency and steadiness for restoring and reuniting our body with its natural alignment, and organic sense of ease.

Morning sessions with Tarini will take a gentle therapeutic approach to finding our "one thing" that makes the most difference in our experience of chronic pain. In these prop-happy classes she will begin with the remarkable power of breathe for managing, and living beyond pain, explore the important role of fascia through the lens of Tensegrity , align pelvis and spine using techniques of YogAline to find anatomical neutral and protect your spine at every stage and any age. You will explore the psoas (so-a s) muscle—your soul muscle—for releasing, and reversing the debilitating, depressive effects of sitting, as you engage in self-study to find the gaps between the pain. In the final session you will thread all you've explored and or learned from the first two, in a gentle flow sequence that knits together these ideas, and help you find an equilibrium through body changes at every new stage of life.

In the evening sessions, Shinay will take these principles of the morning sessions into more expanded variations of each shape, for exploring safety, alignment at every stage of life, body and practice. You will explore yoga sutras, possible meanings and any application to your your yoga life, on and off the matt.

Session five will be immediately followed by an evening Kirtan - yoga chanting with Stan Hitson, musician, composer and practitioner of ecstatic chanting.
