The Spine Clinic offers a look at the natural anatomy vs. injured anatomy of the spine, how repeated posture and movement influences spinal alignment and leads to pain. We will learn new ways of sitting, standing, and breathing so the tight areas let go and weak areas strengthen to reintegrate and/or reinforce natural alignment.
We will practice and adjust ourselves in postures to relieve lower back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, herniated disks (or “throwing your back out”), cricks in the neck, degenerative disk disease (What the heck is that?) and more.
Come ready to interact, move, breathe and leave feeling smarter, more free and a little taller than when you walked in.
After healing her own labral hip tear due to osteoarthritis, Allison figured it would be simple to straighten her scoliosis, which gave her intermittent trouble. In a few months with a dedicated 10-minute daily practice, she had no more pain and didn’t even have to hem up her left pant leg anymore. Allison has been teaching yoga since January of 2012, 7 years of leading people to freedom from their aches, pains and injuries.
