The popularity of yogic poses and postures have penetrated many aspects of contemporary health and fitness practices, and many “styles” of this body practice have emerged. The classical texts of Yoga expound 4 Paths to Self-REALIZATION: the path of Karma Yoga, the path of Bhakti Yoga, the path of Jñana Yoga and the path of Raja Yoga. Raja Yoga is also called the Royal Yoga. This path is the yoga of mastering the mind. Going beyond style and mere physical fitness, this workshop strives to give a fundamental framework of classical raja yoga practice. In this workshop, we will explore the 8 limbs of Raja Yoga to revitalize this knowledge and seat its importance centrally to our contemporary practice. Come (re)cognize and (re)collect your mind with the power and wisdom of the Royal Path. (This is a 2-day workshop, attendance to both sessions is highly recommended but not required)
