The Yoga of Sound is an aspect of Nada Yoga.

Nada is a Sanskrit word that means sound. Though the practice of Nada Yoga is not one specific practice it covers a wide range of practical exercises. Some practices include vocal play, singing, sounding the Indian scales and mantras. Part of Nada Yoga is learning to fine-tune your ability to listen to audible and inaudible sounds, which is an aspect of subtle vibration.

SCHEDULE

Our morning practice will alternate in start times yet the activities seen below give you an idea of a typical day. We will alternate location (between the Ganga and in the Yoga Hall), to have the best of both worlds.

A typical day schedule

Uniting to the duality of sounds of mantras, song, and merging into the stillness of silence through meditation and allowing a spaciousness to fill the heart.
Daily Mantras, meditation, movement, breathing and prayer.

Breakfast

Two lectures offered in this retreat one is on Nada Yoga and the other is which is a mix of theory and sounding.

Lunch

Relax, let go, reflect, explore time to enjoy.

Evening practice include a variation of vocal play, toning, healing with sound, meditation.

Dinner

There will be three night of evening events, that include, Sound journey, meditation and Yoga nidra
