Therapeutic yoga is a small class for problem areas of your body. Janet listens to your requests, answers your questions & helps you learn yoga. Work with a Certified Yoga Therapist, Yoga for Healthy Aging, and Integrative Yoga for Seniors instructor. Poses lying down, sitting and standing. Although the class is geared to seniors, all are welcome.

When you do yoga in alignment with engagement of the muscles followed by movement, you will heal your body. Here you learn the art and science of moving your body in a way that makes it feel better.
This class is designed for seniors and those with health-conditions. The only requirement is that you be able to get up and down from the floor. We welcome you to explore what yoga can do for you.
Janet loves teaching therapeutic yoga because it gives such great results. This is not “get sweaty” yoga. We work slowly on poses for either the whole body or a particular part. Students make requests as to what they would like to work on and I lead them through the postures. We always start and end with a restorative yoga pose.
Come to A Mindfulness Life Center, Studio B at 2 and walk out feeling better than when you came in.
