Treating Cold Depression

Cold depression was called the “silence of the soul” by Yogi Bhajan. It’s when you become numb to yourself and are not even aware of your non feeling state. You feel separated from your soul and cannot feel the vital life force energy moving through you. Do you ever feel separated or like you don’t belong? Do you have a craving to connect spiritually? Conscious connection fills the void. However, if you are suffering from cold depression, you create a “sense” of feeling to fill the void.

A primary challenge in the current age, Cold Depression occurs when the external demand is greater than our capacity to deliver and we have no reserves. Its symptoms are a deep sense of loneliness, a prevailing sense of anxiety, and a loss of meaning. We become numb and disconnected.

If you feel this way, or are a yoga teacher who wants to help students who may be feeling this way, these workshops are for you. Learn how to recognize Cold Depression in yourself, your family, and your students, and learn tools to help counter the phenomenon Yogi Bhajan called “The Silence of the Soul.”

Led by Sat Siri Kaur

Sat Siri Kaur is an KRI/IKYTA-certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a Level III Sat Nam Rasayan® Candidate, Teacher, and Practitioner who learned Sat Nam Rasayan® directly from Guru Dev Singh Khalsa, the Living Master of Sat Nam Rasayan® and continues to study with him. She maintains a private client practice in Sat Nam Rasayan® and Kundalini Yoga serving individuals, families, and groups throughout the United States.

Sat Nam Rasayan® is a traditional healing art that uses pure awareness to heal. It works on a subtle level to release tendencies and limitations. Any issue — emotional; mental; physical; spiritual; family situations and workplace dynamics — can be addressed including: anxiety, fear, anger, grief, physical pain and illness; mental function; improving relationships and communication; facing mortality and death.
