LOCATION: The Ibiza True Nature Yoga Retreat will take place at CAN LOTUS, an ancient finca on a hilltop in the campo close to the beautiful Cala St. Vincente. Surrounded by nature and with a beautiful seaview, this authentic spot is a true paradise. The good vibes in the warmly decorated house will make you feel at home immediately. The back-to-basic style of the place let you appreciate the simple things in life again. Being outside, breathing fresh air, walking bare feet and soaking up the sun. Don’t expect excessive luxury, instead take the opportunity to reconnect with nature. Rooms and bathroom are shared with 2 or 3 people. (If your prefer a private room, ask us for the possibilities). There are different kind of accommodations available. All very unique! From sea view room to tipi and from hippy bus to yurt. Looking forward to see you there.
Day 1: Welcome at the magical island! Today your Ibiza adventure starts. After a taxi drive across the island, your final destination for this week is the authentic centuries old finca Can Lotus in the quiet north. Take your time to land, settle down in your room and meet your fellow yogi’s. We open the retreat in the evening with a festive garden diner.
Day 2: Rise and shine. The first day of the retreat is on the sunny horizon! Today we introduce you to our daily invigorating morning ritual; a lemon detoxer, sunrise meditation and a good set of pranayama. There is a light breakfast afterwards and time to take a shower before we continue with our Yoga practice. We meet on the outdoor yoga platform for a 1,5 hour energizing Vinyasa class. A healthy wholesome lunch is waiting for you right afterwards. Then enjoy some free time at the house or if you are in for some local fun, take a cab (or your rental car) to the organic St Joan Market and mingle with the locals. We meet in the afternoon for a very relaxed yoga session, to cool body and mind down.
Day 3: After a good night sleep we start the day again with our early morning ritual followed by a fresh and fruity breakfast. After a short break get ready for your daily Yoga class under the pinetrees. We lunch with clean, vegetarian food and in the break there is the opportunity to book a relaxing massage or go for a swim at the nearby white sandy beach. In the afternoon we do a relaxed yoga session to allow you to fully surrender and let go.
Day 4: Today is a day for contemplation and to concentrate on your inner Self. The entire day we will be in silence, no chitchat during our meals or in between classes. Silence helps us to reach a higher level of consciousness and a better understanding of our innermost nature. We will practice powerful breathing techniques, Yoga and meditation to deepen our silence and gain more clarity as we go along. Use your free time for Self-Inquiry, rest with a good book or take a siesta. In the afternoon we go for a silence walk to one of the most beautiful and desolated spots of the island. Feel the gentle breeze on your face, experience the warm sunshine and be inspired by the sounds of nature.
Day 5: Start your day slowly and relaxed. Take a few deep breaths and smell the pine scented air, while listening to the sound of nature all around you. After breakfast there is no program today. You have the entire day for yourself. Go out to explore the island and discover her pristine beauty. Or take it easy today and stay around the finca to simply be, breathe, and practice gratitude. In the evening you can go out for diner at one of the many nice dining spots of Ibiza. Of course we can give you some good tips!
Day 6: Another full day of inspiration on the menu. Drink your lemon detoxer before landing on your yoga mat for the early morning meditation and pranayama session. Today’s Yoga classes are all about opening of the heart and deepening our connection with our intuitive nature. With renewed energy we sit down for a peaceful lunch. In the evening there will be a Yin class. Holding the poses longer invites you to look deep within and find your way Home.
Day 7: Wake up and make yourself ready for our morning routine. This day we will have the last Yoga session of the retreat. During class we will prepare you for a smooth transition between the ‘new you’ and the ‘old world’ you left behind. In the afternoon we go for a beautiful nature walk in the area, visiting Tanit’s cave, the goddess of love and fertility. Use this opportunity to connect with nature in her purest form and integrate your experiences of the week into your being. Mother Nature knows best. The last evening is for celebration. We dine and sing into the night. Prepare yourself for a natural high!
Day 8: Today the Ibiza True Nature Yoga Retreat comes to an end. But no need for sadness since every ending promises a new beginning! We have our last breakfast together and after that we take a moment to share and thank one another before officially closing the retreat. Hope to see you all back soon!
