Shoulderstand or Sarvangasana translates to "all limbs" pose, as it affects and stimulates all areas of the body. It is named the mother of all yoga poses for its nurturing affect on our nervous systems. In this workshop we will enjoy a flowing sequence to prepare our bodies to invert and then break down the prerequisites and foundational preparation in the shoulders for a healthy and safe shoulderstand. All levels welcome, from absolute beginners to those looking to come deeper and feel greater alignment in their current shoulderstand. Therapeutic options will be available for those not ready for full shoulderstand due to injury or general tightness. Come experience the lunar energy in the body that shoulderstand activates, which improves our immune system and overall health.
