Urban Mindfulness Retreat
This day-long retreat is a unique opportunity to learn and practice mindfulness in a relaxed small-group setting, in a tranquil setting amidst the energy of city, to support integration of mindfulness in the urban lifestyle.

Mindfulness meditation is an age-old practice which produces research-proven results. Along with important health benefits, it’s a path to reducing mental suffering and finding a sense of well-being inside ourselves, despite our life challenges.
The format of this retreat is a unique small-group setting, allowing individual attention, direction, and questions. Retreat includes instruction and practice of sitting, walking, sound and eating meditation; gentle yoga; yogic breathwork for mental stability; and information on applying the practices to life challenges such as stress, anxiety, addiction and other mental challenges. Participants will have the unique experience of social silence through the day, with the exception of the question periods. The group pauses for a silent vegetarian lunch mid-day.
Tea and light healthy snacks are also provided.
