In this workshop, you will learn key points in maintaining integrity of the spine, shoulders and hips within your vinyasa practice, allowing you to flow with ease and stability avoiding injuries typically seen in vinyasa practices
Type of Event
Wholey Wonder Yoga Studio
61, Gudwara Road
With basic anatomy explanation of the shoulders, spine and hips, we will practice and learn alignment of the bones and muscular activation in poses such as Adho Much Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog), Plank, Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose), Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog) and Bhujangasana (Cobra) — performed many times over within a vinyasa/flow class.
We will also breakdown common yoga transitions — the flow from plank to Chaturanga Dandasana and Tadasana to Uttanasana — key points that are difficult to teach in a typical 1 hour class setting.
This workshop is for everyone — new or seasoned practitioner in learning key points to maintain stability, mobility and integrity of the shoulders, spine and hips.
A choice of juice is also included in the workshop from Wholey Wonder menu.
