Do you feel like your Vinyasa Flow doesn't flow as smoothly as you'd like? Do you feel like you need some help with transitions while you are building strength and flexibility? Or are you interested in refining alignment in the Sun Salutation poses of Chaturanga, Upward Dog and Downward Dog to find more lightness and ease in your practice?
If you've answered yes to any of these questions then join us for this Vinyasa Rx workshop. We will be taking an indepth look at the poses of the Sun Salutations, which are also commonly used as a transition to step to and from standing postures in Vinyasa classes. We will look into the proper alignment and anatomy of the three main poses in the sequence. We will discuss how to use core muscles to feel lighter. We will present tips on how to adjust if you are still working on strength and flexibility. We will show you how props can be an aid to quicken your progress. And of course, we will have some playtime to practice what we've learned!
This workshop is open to everyone. No yoga experience required.
