Vinyasa - RYT 200 in Beautiful Puerto Vallarta

This is a yoga teacher training in the vinyasa style. The class sizes are small and intimate. A great international group of student teachers come for this training that teaches you not only vinyasa but also basic Hatha yoga, children's yoga and Restorative yoga.

Daily 7:30-4 except Saturdays 8-2. We are together 3 nights during the week and only one Sunday in the program to offer a community service.

Overview of davannayoga® Vinyasa Training

davannayoga’s® training focuses on teaching the Vinyasa style to all levels of yoga practitioners. Our purpose is to uphold and maintain the highest standard of safety and instruction for all yoga teachers.
You will learn how to teach asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra and meditation, as well as davannayoga’s signature assists and adjusts. To this traditional training, you will add your own creative style to become the teacher that you have always wanted to be!
You will also receive instruction in leading a Restorative yoga class, basic Hatha Flow, Children's yoga class, and how to work with pregnant students who come to your classes, making you a well rounded yogi or yogini with a lot to offer.

A Typical Day at davannayoga Teacher Training:

Mornings: Opening Mantra, and mantra practice, questions from homework.

Morning: Asana practice and teaching/adjusting/anatomy work or co-create and give a class with your class mates (practice!).

Lunch Break

Morning/Afternoon: Practical training in day’s course work (see full curriculum in other links), end with closing mantra .

Afternoon: Free from 4-7

Some Evenings (3 nights per week) we are together from 7-9pm: Asana practice, pranayama practice, meditation practice or Kirtan meditation with live music depending on your course work progress.

Friday evenings there are Mantra Meditation classes with our Kirtan Master.

Saturdays we get out a bit early giving you time to catch up on reading, working on your final sequence that you will lead
the other student teachers in, swimming in the ocean or just eating and sleeping.

One Sunday during the training we will offer community service together - and we have a lot of FUN on this day! Your family/friends are welcome to join us.

All evenings will include self-study homework of reading or creating sequences or study of Sanskrit.
