Over the span of 30 days, our students participate in intense and immersive days of classes starting at 6:30AM and ending at 8:00PM. Our aim is to provide a holistic understanding of yoga, beyond just the physical aspects - Sanskrit mantras, pranayama, meditation techniques, physiology, therapy, shatkarmas.

On Sundays, we take all of our students and faculty out for some fun in the sun to explore local culture (temples, ashrams, etc) and outdoor adventures (rafting, ziplining, etc).

Every student gets a private room and bath in our newly built accommodations, and 3 vegetarian meals per day for the duration of the course. The cost of all Sunday trips is also included :)

Proceeds from our school and your tuition help fund our volunteer efforts :) We created Vinyasa Yoga Foundation in 2009 to help address the needs of those less fortunate in Rishikesh and to give back to our community. We've been providing food to underprivileged families and youth at temples and ashrams around Rishikesh since 2009. We're also in the early phases of establishing a free school for young children below the poverty line, and a temple/yoga hall dedicated to people who want to learn yoga to enrich their own lives.

If you are interested in volunteering during your stay, please let us know! It’s entirely optional and not required, but you’re more than welcome to join us and other classmates on our volunteering projects :)
