This practice is contraindicated for pregnant women past the 1st trimester and women who are in the heavy part of their cycle.

Full Description

The Warrior Workout is a physically demanding kundalini yoga practice taught by Yogi Bhajan. It is made up of the Kriya for Elimination and Circulation, 11 minutes of running in place, followed by Serabandanda Kriya. the practice is designed to work the upper torso, flex the spine, and support of which are critical in creating a strong and healthy container for the spiritual warrior.

Participants do not need to be in immaculate physical shape. Meet the practice where you are and use the workshop as a starting off point to begin developing your personal sadhana with an eye towards growth over time.

This class includes numerous asanas lying on one's stomach as well as a practice similar to vinyasa and as such is contraindicated for women who have passed the first trimester of a pregnancy or are in the heavy portion of the monthly cycle. There will be kirtan and/or gong meditation at the end of the workshop if time permits.
