Full Description

During this long weekend we will dive deep into the practice of yoga, enjoying moments in silence in meditation, moments of flowing movement in the asanas and moments of restoration of body and mind in the evening sessions. In between the sessions we can enjoy the Chateau and its beautiful, lovingly tended garden. The Chateau serves fresh organic home-made food.

The stylish Château-Gottrau in the canton of Fribourg is set in a beautifully renovated 16th-century building. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world located in a quiet village. The huge well-kept garden invites you to linger and relax and the Chateau itself has beautiful bright rooms with period furniture. Each room has wooden floors, a seating area and views of the garden. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities.

Claire Dalloz: has been an enthusiastic yoga student since her studies in the 80s in England and a passionate yoga teacher since the 90s, when she returned to Switzerland.
Claire's teaching style is clear, purposeful, humorous and engaging. Her focus is on the correct alignment of the body so that each participant learns to live and breathe optimally. Only a body without pain finds peace of mind! Therefore, Claire guides each participant to find his/her optimal position in order to achieve personal progress. Claire offers you an integrated practice that creates awareness at all levels. All this through moments of silence in meditation, moments of concentration in pranayama (breathing work) and through the precise practice of asanas (yoga exercises).
