Yin Yoga for the Spine & Hips and Legs
December 30th, 1:00pm-5:00pm with Helen Fong
Yin yoga for the spine, hips and legs. Ease your movement and emotional health by exploring a slow-paced yin yoga practice all from the floor. We will touch on the 3 principles of yin yoga and challenge the myth of yoga that everyone can do a pose if they just train long enough, hard enough…and with the right teacher. What is important is not what a pose looks like, but what it feels like. There are 8 possible directions (movements) for the spine and for many poses there are many variations. We will explore these directions. Allow time for two short meditations and physical practices of yin yoga for your spine, hips and legs. Each participant will be given two yin yoga home-practice packages (one for The Spine and one for The Hips & Legs).
Cost: December 30th afternoon session with Helen: $60 + tax
