Why would there be guides for practicing yoga that are about personal interactions? Why would there be recommendations for how to respect and relate to yourself?
The idea is that all of this creates a firm foundation for your practice. A platform to spring you into the deeper aspect of the practice that blossoms in every minute of every day.
This workshop offers exploration of what Yama and Niyama actually means. Traditionally Yama is translated as an ethic. You could call it the yoga of others. Niyama, often translated as restraint, but you could call it the yoga of the self. Both equally important for the aspiration to make the world and life better.
Mostly lecture and Q & A format this is a philosophical workshop.
