Type of Event
This workshop will emphasise the use of breath to cultivate a positive outlook in life. The workshop will be split into three parts. The first part will explore a range of pranayama (breathing) techniques, which help to balance our physical, emotional and mental states as well as assist us in letting go of any stress and negativity that we might be holding. The second part will be a fun and dynamic flow using the breath to regulate the pace and quality of movements.
This will include uplifting sequences and provide an opportunity to shake out any tension in the body. The final part of the workshop will consist of restorative and yin postures. In this final phase, we will use the breath as a tool for taking the gaze inwards and directing energy into tense areas of the body helping to relax and replenish the body thus promoting a deep sense of wellbeing, inner calm and positivity.
