Using traditional yogic postures that require less of an external effort, Yin Yoga has a deep effect, resulting in stretching of connective tissues and opening of pathways to allow free flow of energy.
This class includes use of props, such as blocks, blankets, sand bags, belts, bolsters and eye-pillows. Poses will be held 3 to 8 minutes each, using very little, if any, muscle effort. No previous knowledge of Yin yoga is required. Accommodating all levels.
