Full Description

The focus on this workshop will be on poses and breathing exercises. This will activate, stimulate and clear the digestive/metabolic system of the body.
We will learn a yoga series which works directly on the vital organs like the stomach, intestines, liver, spleen, and kidneys.

Yin Yoga will invite you to hold seated postures on the floor with relaxed muscles lending to the opening of the deep connective tissues of the hips, spine and shoulders. Yin is an introspective and passive yoga practice offering an opportunity to bring peace and harmony to busy lives and active yoga practices.

Pranayama – in simple terms – stimulates the energy (prana) or chi in the body, which make up the Yin and Yang and energy. The ultimate goal is to balance these two energies, boosting metabolism through increasing the flow of oxygen. The workshop will include short mindful meditations guided by segmented breathing which will help to restore the respiratory and nervous system.
