Yin Yoga Workshop
Yin Yoga postures are more passive and perfect for the beginner yogi as well as the advanced practitioner. It is unique in that you are asked to relax in a pose, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone.

Saturday, Nov 15th from 12-1:30pm. No heat for this event and no yoga experience necessary. Yin Yoga is known as the "quiet, meditative” yoga and perfect for beginners and advanced yogis.
It concentrates on the connective tissues and bones, critical to our physical well being and range of motion.

Yin Yoga allows you to access the deeper connective tissue and fascia
and many of the postures focus on the hips, sacrum and spine. Postures are held for sustained periods of time, allowing muscles to relax and the deep connective tissue to be gently stretched.
Gain more flexibility in the joints & connective tissue, calm & balance the mind and body. This practice of "quiet power" encourages students to explore energetic principals, cultivate compassion and refine awareness.
