In this workshop we explore the gentle side of a yoga practice especially focused on balancing your hormones and menstrual cycle utilizing the wisdom of the Chinese 5 Elements. We will learn about how Yin Chi can be supported and cultivated to accompany us through all stages of womanhood from first blood all the way through pregnancy and menopause.
There will be discussion time to share our personal connections to our moon cycles and to ask specific questions.
A nourishing Yin Yoga practice will follow this to restore balance and ease you into your natural flow.
Jade specializes in teaching Yin Yoga. She offers the practice for yoga studios and in rehabilitation settings helping people recover from injury, cope with stress and rediscover their mind-body connections through this deep yet gentle practice. She has studied with the School of Sacred Arts and Paul Grilley and continues to evolve her practice incorporating chi kung, somatic experiencing and principles of craniosacral therapy. Her style is influenced greatly by her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and she fluidly incorporates classical and modern meridian theories into her classes with an approach that is accessible to all. Jade’s classes are body-honoring and mindful with a resonance rooted in reclaiming our innate wisdom.
