Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra Workshop
In Yin Yoga, poses are held longer and with a passive intention to gently stress connective tissue, which in time tends to bring more elasticity and mobility to stiff joints. The practice is meditative and introspective in nature and complements a yang style practice. Although a quiet and slow practice Yin is challenging due to holding poses for long periods of time and keeping mindful throughout the session.

As a complement to the more active Yang asana practice, Yin Yoga is slow & meditative and poses are held for longer periods of time. Allowing muscle to rest passively, students will sit deeper into the connective tissue of the body- cultivating more mobility & suppleness in the joints- as well as practice the observation of the mind.
