This three part workshop series is for yoga teachers and students who want to deepen their understanding of optimal alignment and adjustments in standing poses, seated poses, back-bends, and hip openers. ”. It introduces and reinforces principles you may or may not have learned in teacher training. It contains insights and tips that have helped Stacy create a thriving and sustainable practice for over twenty years.

Part 1: No pre-requisites
Theory & Foundation
Learn Adjustments in this three part series. Begin with a basic exploration of learning styles as well as the structural platforms and actions that take place in each posture. In the hands on adjustment section, you will learn the philosophy, ethics and types of physical touch. You will then put these principles into practice in a Hip Opener Themed Adjustment Class.

Part 2: Standing Poses
**** Part 1 is a pre-requisite for attending Part 2 & 3
Begin with a basic exploration of Adjustments for Standing Poses. Apply effective use of props, modifications and touch for challenging poses and identify and address common misalignments. Gain greater stability and energy flow to each yoga pose to facilitate a greater sense of joy and empowerment.

Part 3: Seated Poses & Backbends
**** Part 1 is a pre-requisite for attending Part 2 & 3
Begin with a basic exploration of Adjustments for Seated Poses & Backbends. Apply effective use of props, modifications and touch for challenging poses and identify and address common misalignments. Gain greater stability and energy flow to each yoga pose to facilitate a greater sense of joy and empowerment.
