200hr Teacher Training courses are available every month, on the 15th of each month for 30days.

300hr Teacher Training courses are available every month, on the 15th of each month for 45days.

500hr Teacher Training courses are available every month, on the 15th of each month for 60days.

Maximum class capacity is 10 students

The only requirements are a fit body, an open mind and a passion for teaching

Nepal Yoga Teacher Trainings 200-Hour

Practice-Training Techniques (total 100 hours) 100 contact hours, 80 with Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher.
• Prayer: Om chant, Mantra chant, Japa.
• Subtle exercise, Dynamic (warm up) exercise, Spinal exercise
• Satkarma: Dhauti, Basti, Neti Nauli, Tratak and Kapalbhati
• Asana (postures): meditative postures, Relaxing Postures, Balancing Postures, Fitness maintaining postures.
• Body alignment and its importance in yoga
• Yoga safety guidelines
• Mudra and Bandha
• Pranayama(Breathing)
• Dhyan(Meditation)
• Guided teaching practice

Teaching Methodology (total 25 hours) 10 contact hours with Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher.
• Principles of demonstration
• Instruction-cueing,
• Teaching styles,
• Qualities of a teacher,
• The student's process of learning
• Business skills
• Setting up classes.
• Communication skills
• Observation, assisting and correcting

Anatomy-Physiology (total 20 hours) 10 contact hours with Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher.
Physical anatomy & physiology: Fitness knowledge components of physical fitness, bones, joints & common injuries, muscles and their actions, kinesiology of yoga asana, contraindications, movement patterns.
Spiritual anatomy and physiology: chakras and its value, Physical and spiritual nadis, Kundalini power, aura etc.).

Practicum (total 10 hours)
10 ontact hours with Experience Registered Yoga Teacher.
Teaching and assisting students in a class environment as well as observing and assisting in classes taught by others. A minimum of 10 hours must be spent teaching in a yoga setting into which the student might be invited. .

Yoga Philosophy - Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers (total 25 hours) 10 Hours with Experience Registered Yoga Teacher. A minimum of 8 contact hours must be spent on ethics for yoga teachers.
• The brief study of yoga philosophies and traditional texts: Definition of Yoga, History of Yoga, Biography of some important yoga rishis such as Lord Shiva, Patanjali Rishi, Gorakhnath( a great hatha yogi at modern age),brief study of the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gherand Samhita.
• Yoga lifestyle: the precept of Yama (social rules and regulations) non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness (satya), nonstealing (asteya), nonpossessiveness (aparigraha), celibesy(bhahmacharya)
Niyam (individual rules and regulations), souch (purification of body and mind) santosh (contentment), tapa (tenacity), swadhyaya ( self study) ishwor pranidhan (self surrender to god) , the concepts of dharma and karma
• Daily Yogic routine and yogic ahara (food)
• Ethics for yoga teachers

Nepal Yoga Teacher Training 500hr (above curriculum plus the following)

Synopsis:

Practice-Training Techniques (total 85 hours) 85 contact hours, 85 with Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher.
• Training in the techniques and practice of: Satkarma, Mudra-Bandha, Asanas, pranayamas, meditation.
• Understanding meditation, kriyas, chanting main principles
• Body alignment and its importance in yoga
• Includes progressive practice of traditional Yoga techniques with emphasis on asana, pranayama, kriya, bandha, mudra, chanting
• Yoga Nidra and relaxation techniques
• Process and models of meditation
• Developing practices integrating the various tools of yoga, developing practices focusing on specific needs of an individual/group.
• Yoga safety guidelines.

Contact hours in this category must be spent teaching in a yoga setting into which the student might be invited.

• Anatomy of asana, alignment; movements
• Understanding key muscles of Hatha Yoga and their function.
• Yoga health benefits/contraindications must be covered in this section
• Fitness knowledge, components of physical fitness, bones, joints & common injuries, muscles and their actions
• Kinesiology of yoga asana, contraindications, movement patterns.

Spiritual anatomy and physiology: chakras and its value, Physical and spiritual nadis, Kundalini power, aura etc.)

Psychology of Yoga and Spirituality ( 10 hours) – 10 contact hours with Experienced Registered Teachers.

Philosophy-Ethic-Lifestyle (15 hours) 15 contact hours with Experienced Registered Teachers.
• Study of influential texts including the Upanishadas(the origin books of Yoga), Sankhya Yoga philosophy, Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Shiva sanhita, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra etc
• Philosophy-Ethic-Lifestyle for yoga teachers, yamas and niyamas.
• Vegetarian yogic diet.
• Yogit daily routine

Practicum (20 hours) 20 contact hours with Experienced Registered Teachers.
