Full Description

Minna will begin the workshop by stretching the body gently with a Yoga warm-up. Movements are slow and attention will be made to the safe alignment and awareness of our body; this helps us not only in Yoga and Bellydance but also in our everyday lives. In this workshop, we will be paying particular attention to stretching the sides of the body especially at the waist and hips.

In the Bellydance section of the workshop Kay will be teaching us how to master beautiful hip circles and figure of 8 moves in-depth. These movements are excellent for strengthening and toning the core muscle area and fun way of embracing our powerful femininity. Kay will be then putting all these dance moves into a simple but fun choreography towards the end of the dance session.

At the end of the workshop, Minna will lead a cooling down and calming session using the Yin style of Yoga. In Yin style we stay in each pose a bit longer than normal to allow us to sink in and relax into each pose.
