You can choose a short break anytime from Easter to the end of June. It includes 4 nights bed and breakfast, 4 evening meals, 3 lunches, and 6 hours with horses although riders would automatically get longer if we are on a ride as some of our rides just are longer.

690 €

Price includes 4 nights bed and breakfast, 4 evening meals, 3 lunches, and a minimum of 6 hours of horses. Yoga sessions are one and a half hours long. This costing is based on 2 people sharing a room. It does not include flights, transport to and from the Finca Pacheco, Aromatherapy treatments or extra rides out side the 6 hours.

Full Description

You stay at the Finca Pacheco, a reknown Riding School in the middle of stunning countryside in Andalucia. Learn to ride with well trained riding instructors or improve your riding skills. There are beautiful rides out into the countryside or perhaps you fancy a taste of polo riding?

Combine your riding time with yoga classes specifically tailored to riders - a perfect complement to keep you supple and strong, riding with effortless ease. We will explore the many synergies between riding and yoga, in particular, the use of gravity and the core, increasing body awareness and presence, breathing and using the spine.

We will probably start the day with a yoga session, followed by breakfast.

In a typical Short Break you spend 2 hours a day with horses, the exact activity depending on your level of experience, so for a beginner an hour's lesson is probably long enough (due to sore bottom!) but then you could go for a ride in the pony and trap or learn to saddle up the horse and find out how to look after the horses as well as ride them. Pat Brooke who runs the stables will work out a programme with each participant when they arrive. Activities also depend on the weather. As it gets very hot here in Andalucia it may be more comfortable to ride in the evening.

In between riding and yoga you can while away your time by the pool or go exploring in the pony trap. Or hire a car and visit nearby picturesque villages.

You stay on the Finca in comfortable ensuite accomodation and are treated to wonderful, gourmet meals made from fresh local produce.
