This class emphasizes the conscious and compassionate practice of physical yoga postures, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and meditation as taught in the Kripalu tradition. The Sanskrit word Kripalu means compassion. These practices and exercises integrate the body, mind, and spirit helping you return to your natural state of wellbeing. You take what you learned in class “off the mat” and bring it into your daily life. You will notice more energy throughout the day, improved focus and concentration, and overall healthier digestion and weight management habits. The practices can be gentle, moderate, or vigorous. You are encouraged to tune into your body and practice at an intensity that feels right in the present moment. Classes last 60 minutes and specialty workshops last 90 minutes.
